Unless the Lord builds the house those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep. Psalm 127:1-2
Lord,
How well do you know my heart! The anxiousness of this gift you've given has overwhelmed me to the point that I simply do nothing. Idleness has become my chains, yet anxiety is my capturer. Lord unless YOU build the house, I labor in vain. Nothing comes from it. Unless YOU are keeping watch, my alertness means nothing. My long work days are vanity because Your word says the you give sleep...yes You give rest.
So Lord take this house. Enable my labor. Let it be not in vain, but for the building of Your Kingdom. Watch the city. Your watchfulness is most secure because nothing or no one escapes Your gaze. Not only this, but You're wiling and able to protect from the enemy. May I not eat the bread or anxious toil, but may I feast on the the Bread of Life as I prepare these things ( raising support ).
Your son & servant,
Los
